Mrs. Carpenters Chicks Hatch

Mrs. Carpenter’s class have had 7 baby chicks hatch and 7 more that they are waiting to hatch. Mrs. Carpenter does this project every Spring. The student’s are shown by the aquarium and the incubator where the baby chicks are staying.

4th Grade Field Trip to Austin

 The fourth grade class rode a chartered bus to Austin for their field trip. They visited the BobBullock Museum, the State Cemetary,and the State Capitol.

Pre-K and Kindergarten Roundup!

All Royse City ISD Elementary Campuses will hold Pre-K and Kindergarten Roundup on Tuesday, May 6, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Students must be age 4 by September 1 to be eligible for Pre-Kindergarten and age 5 by September 1 to qualify for Kindergarten.

Parents, visit the campus zoned for area you live and please bring: Proof of residency (i.e. utility bill), birth certificate, immunization records, child’s social security card.

It was Earth Day Awareness as the 5th graders performed songs about our planet, Earth.
They sang”My planet, your planet”,” What do you do with the water waster”?, and “Sweet water”.  They also told many facts about recycling.

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE

Ms. Antony and Mrs. Callaway’s PE classes are shown playing a game called Mission Impossible. The object of the game was to get from one end of the gym to the other without touching the floor.  They had movable spots to help them out with the task.
