Students are expected to adhere to the rules provided below. Should they fail to do so, the following steps will be followed.
1. Warning 2. Seat Re-assignment 3. Copy the Rules 4. Detention and Parent Contact 5. Office Referral and Parent Contact
The rules are as follows:
· Honor the Royse City Middle School Honor Code—A Bulldog will never lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do! · Always come to class prepared to WORK. · Bring a folder and writing instrument. · Unless it is your class time, you should not enter the lab without permission. · Upon entering the lab, you should begin work immediately. · Be in your seat by the tardy bell and wait to be dismissed. · DON’T bring diskettes from home. · No unruly behavior or loud talking. · DON’T share your files. · Leave your workstation clean. · Don’t touch the computer while instructions are being given. · Notify the teacher immediately if ANYTHING is wrong with your computer equipment. · Do not access the Internet without prior approval. · Take care of personal issues prior to coming to class. · Be respectful of other people and property. · Use language appropriate for the classroom. · Do nothing to interfere with the teacher from teaching and classmates from learning. · The rolling chairs are for sitting, not entertainment. · No food, drinks, or gum, unless noted otherwise · Keep your work area and the lab neat. · Seek tutoring help when needed.
