The Technology and Business Club is an educational and fun group designed to explore the field of technology and business in an open setting. The club will mainly be self-directed by the students. It will be up to them to decide what they wish to accomplish. It will be moderated by Mrs. Stelzel who besides teaching Keyboarding and Computer Explorations at the middle school level, has also taught Economics at the high school level.
Topics to Be Explored: The following is a list of topics to be explored. It will not, however, be limited to those listed.
· Creating a web page with HyperText Markup Language (HTML) · Discussion of current events with emphasis on technology and the business world · Guest speakers · Study of new technology · Field trips · Hands on activities involving a scanner, digital camera, as well as video cameras · Programming · Stock Market · Re-building a Computer · Use of a variety of software applications
Who: All Royse City Middle School Students; there are no prerequisites or membership restrictions.
When: 1st and 3rd Monday of each month
