Volleyball Camp Sign-Ups

It is not too Late!  You can still sign up for the Royse City Volleyball Camp.

You can even show up on the 16th and sign up. Registration for the 4th – 6th grades is at 8:00 to 9:00 and 7th – 9th graders at 12:00 to 1:00.

Monster Storms

Fort fifth grade GT students had a special visitor last week, Steve McCauley with the WFAA-Channel 8 Weather Team. The gifted and talented students are studying the Jason Project - Monster Storms.

McCauley talked to the students about seeding clouds, how meteorologists predict the weather and shared his own personal footage of a tornado.  He filmed the tornado when he was a storm chaser.  Students were captivated by Steve and his presentation and asked him some very insightful questions.  McCauley commented to Kelly Margot, G/T teacher, on how very smart the students were.
