The EDP will now offer before and after school care on each elementary campus! Holiday and summer care will still be housed at Browning Primary.
Our program is provided as a public service to benefit our school district families and the new additions will allow the district to expand the number of students we serve.
The District will continue to offer excellent care with low child/staff ratio in a happy, safe and comfortable setting.
Program Offerings

Enrollment is open to all Royse City ISD students pre-kindergarten through fifth grade, provided the Extended Day Program can meet their needs. Students are provided an after school snack. Homework time is available; students have a quiet, structured setting, and tutoring if needed, so that homework can be completed before going home.

Students who participate in the morning care program will have the opportunity to buy breakfast in the cafeteria.

Parents are encouraged to pre-register children before school begins. Registration forms are available at each campus.

Parents who use the drop-off service are asked to contact the site coordinator for drop-off approval. Payment for a drop-off is required the same day of service.

Extended Day Schedule

The program runs the entire school year, with before and after school care each week day, as well as most school holidays and summer. Day Care holidays are:

July 4th—Independence Day
September 3rd—Labor Day
November 21-23—Thanksgiving
December 24-25—Christmas
January 1st—New Years Day
May 26th—Bad Weather Day/Memorial Day
(This will be a holiday if not used as a school day)

Day Care Hours

Before School opens at 6:00 AM

After School until 6:00 PM

Additional fees will be assessed for late pickup.

Students accepted in the Pre-K program will have the opportunity to enroll in the extended day program.

Enrolled students may attend the program during alternate school hours for an additional fee.

Fees

AM Care only: $2.00 per day/per child
AM/PM Care: $10.00 per day/per child
Teacher In-Service Days and Holidays: $15.00 per day plus a sack lunch
