Scoliosis Screening

In accordance with the Texas Department of Health Spinal Screening Rules, Royse City Isd screens all students in grades 5th and 8th.

Before date of screenings a letter will be sent home to notify parents and Students will be given an explanation of scoliosis and the procedure that will be followed on the day of screening.

Health Services will notify parents of results by letter if there is a need for an evaluation by their health care provider.
